These weapon and armor skins need a bit more veriety you know as i said in my last post why we are limited to one amror to the skin for our pre order ones makes me kinda annoyed i was somehow under the impression the forest skin was going to be like one of them things that we can add to any armor and i figure the skin was only displayed on the hazop armor as a reference to what it looks like not actualy hey this is the only armor set you will have this on. and same with the weapons i mean i know this aint call of duty but its not such a bad idea to run all the weapons with multiple skins mabey ad this -Yoink- ads an update to unlock with challenges or something seing how people have run out of reasons to even do the challenges once they hit sr130 well how about some incentive such as if you want a certain skin like lets say you pre ordered the forest skin well you complete enough challenges and gain enough xp and that xp goes towards new skin unlocks for a certqain permutaion set that you select like lets say i pick the warrior armor as the forest skin upgrade so i go to a menu pick those as my pick the arms and the legs and boom and since i already have the forest legs i want id just pick another one or not. and the weapons lets say you go into a fight with a weapon why not have that weapon gain xp the mor eyou use it rather then the whole max it out and get a new skin for just an armor once you maxed out all the of them im talking load out weapons only though. once you gained enough xp towards the weapon hey you unlocked anew skin for it doesnt even have to be new ones just the ones we already have like the dune dmr or the fracture battle rile i mean hey just something to think about that gives us sr130 another goal in this game do even bother with the daily and weeklys.
Yeah, some more skins would be nice. Microtransactions could definitely add some variety, but I’d also like more skins to be made available via commendations, or achievements, challenges, etc.
it’s hard to read all that…but i get your point, im really tired of just have a limited selection of colors.
Carbine, DMR and BR are too much yellow

I dislike how the skins are weapon specific. Why can’t I put the Fracture Skin for the Plasma Pistol on the BR? I love the skin, but I barely use the PP.
I feel skins are a half-complete idea in Halo 4. Like Halo 4 armor they’re mostly indistinct. Show me a pic of any skin and I’d be very hard pressed to tell you its name – or even its armor base… small player cards don’t help any.

Any news on halo 5 i know the release of the new xbox is coming out this may 21st and im definatly not going to buy the first wave which im sure is going to be around christmas unless halo 5 comes out with pre order stuff. But ima BUy a limited edition one if i will get one ima get a buttload of moey after my deployment and yes i will buy limited edition new -Yoink- oh yea. but yes man i wish i could use some of the skins on the battle rifle. i have two skins for it like the artice and dune and regular but hey the fracture one looks cool.
There’s only like 8 unlockable skins and 3 of them are yellow. They are so bland i would probably pay for a skin pack if i had the money.
Same goes for the armor skins, oh you got 500 multi-kills? here have a stripe for your helmet. Reach had way better armor customization, i just will never understand why 343 had to dumb things down and get rid of features that people actually liked.

If there were to be more “armor/weapon skins”, then i would be expecting those weapon and armor skins to be new specializations. It would not only give the players a more variety of armors, but it would also bring back players, b/c if we were to get new specializations, that would me Lvl cap would increase. Personally, I would love to have 7 additional Specializations, raising the lvl cap to SR200. The only “drawback” on that is, will 343 do it, and will they have the time? Try to think about it, in a way, b/c i like your idea. Besides, at the rate Halo 4 is going, its like the population is gone, and if this were to happen, players would “flock” their way back to Halo 4.
With regards to weapons, I hope they can either be Ord Skins, however, that won’t happen due to the fact, you have to customize your ords which Halo 4 doesn’t have. Although I would love to see that in the next title. I would like to see some familiar weapons from prev titles return, however, like i mentioned before, it all depends on 343’s decision and them having the time to do that. If they did, i would love to see the Plasma Rifle have the Standard Skin and the RED Skin, which i would definitely take, and the Storm Rifle to have a RED Skin as well.
I think the red skinned plasma rifle you speak of was a brute exclusive weapon, on top of it being a completely different weapon from the Covie blue PR, at least since its debut in H2. It won’t happen. But more ranks, and MORE CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION is always win.
Make a bright pink skin for DMR.
Bright red skin for storm rifle.
Bright green skin for BR.
I could go on for ages.
I don’t understand why people get so worked up about skins for their guns. Personally I hate how games have gone this route. Part of the reason I got tired of Gears of War 3 was the proliferation of all those skins. I guess I just don’t understand why people need to make their guns bright pink or dark green.
I want to make the DMR skin bright pink because it’s totally embarrassing. And if you don’t want to customize your weapon, you don’t have to. If a guy with a good K/D ratio is using a pink DMR, I would just laugh.

LOL this is true i dont understand why people complain about there being skins there optional so if you dont like them just dont add them is that its simple for the love of god its so simple if you dont like something just dont partake in it if you dont like spartan ops cool dont play spartan ops no one is forcing you to do it i could see if they gave you no choice but the fact that there is an option to add the skin hey take it if you like as for me i like having different skins gives it a custom look if there were more it would be more custom looks i prefer my artic camo br its just my style.

ok yea not into bright pink or anything like that but whatever floats peoples boats im saying why not make the already in game skins available for all the weapons. the reason i even bring this up is because to me i would love to add the Artic Camo to all my weapons.
