A quick glance at your service record shows that you do not play playlists such as Team Arena or MLG, which feature DMR starts. You most likely don’t encounter spammers, for you stick to playlists such as Team Slayer, Team Objective, and Big Team Battle. Those three playlists feature the majority of your time in matchmaking.

There is no effective way to use the DMR, it is a random, crap shoot.

You’re asking for a business to spend a monumental amount of resources “fixing” something that:
A.) They know isn’t broke.
B.) Most of the community knows isn’t broke.
C.) Even if they “fixed” they know that wouldn’t stop the haters.
50 people with the same kind of irrational hate for that man as you guys have for bloom is not enough to convince me to make a change to the mechanic, OR convict a man of murder.

“Those three playlists” feature a good amount of games with DMR starts. What’s your point? The mechanic works the same regardless of playlist.
To his credit the guy does have a positive KD with the DMR. But the service record is moot (as are all of our service records) because that’s just individual performance with a broken game mechanic.

I hate to say it but the ball is and has been in your court this whole time. Let’s forget about our service records, they are irrelevant. I don’t need to know who you are to disagree with you. You are generalizing again which is half your problem. You aren’t thinking critically or relating statistics to facts. You generalize everyone here just like you do the DMR itself. You “generalize” that “generally” someone getting a lucky kill will never happen. But if it is mathematically possible than one MUST conclude that it can and eventually WILL happen. If you are so certain that it doesn’t anyways why are you so against it? How hard can it be to go into the weapon file for the DMR and find the variable that activates bloom and deactivate it and then push that update out with everything else in a Title Update that they are already working on?
You know, I’m going to take half the responsibility for taking this thread HORRIBLY off topic.
Which is about 30% more responsibility than I deserve.
My point remains. There’s no proof that shows us a lesser skilled player has ever won because of bloom.
