The sidekick is not a social weapon

I would like to chill a bit and use AR but when the sidekick does its job better at everything if youre skilled enough, it kinda makes the AR really unimportant in any high level lobby. Maybe social should just be AR only starts, no secondary. OR maybe the sidekick should have less ammo so that it is really hard to kill with one clip forcing players to use AR first

Or maybe Bungie or 343 or whomever decides to develop any Halo game should stop messing with the Pistol and leave it alone.

The pistol was perfect in Halo CE. Every iteration, except for H5, tried to make changes and just made it worse.

I agree. I think it should have a place in ranked modes

I really think that the CE Pistol was really overpowered. Having people start with it made the game boring.

Making social AR only would be a good way to kill it off.

No it was definitely too strong in CE, it was perfect before that one dev buffed it before they made copies for release. All they have to is keep the Sidekick as is and either lower its fire rate one tick or damage on hp and shields one tick and it’s perfect

Na. Definitely not suggesting that

probably not more than SK killing it off.

Oh the sidekick. I mean look man. The weapon selection sucks. Gatta work with what we got

So kill it off for other players because people play differently to you

i like the sidekick. it just shouldnt be in social

Have you tried to use the sidekick? It requires some really solid rng, and aim, to outgun someone spraying centre of mass with an AR.

You want to play in high level lobbies but want people to play like they’re in low level lobbies. Ok.

youre right, it does have rng. thats why being forced to use the sidekick as a primary is even worse. even with the worst rng it still outguns the AR. Also no one is spraying centre mas with an AR unless the enemie is not moving.

I dont want to play in high level lobbies, and I also want to enjoy the AR, not the SK
