Everyone asks to remove the outline, but honestly the only real problem with it is that you can’t tell if someone has an overshield, weakened shields etc. because the outline is the same color. So just let us customize outline and shields color separately and it’s alright.

I think it is, it is the same as the team colors selected. So if you made Team Cobra Yellow than whoever is on Team Cobra has Yellow shields. And if you made Team Eagle Green then whoever is on Team Eagle has Green shields on your screen.
I could be wrong but I think that’s how it works.

Yeah instead of removing features becasue someone goes haywire and want an unwinnable argument war from either side. Add it as settings options, unless it makes things uneven, interfere etc. But everything regarding shield colors, friendly, foes and fireteam colors are in the eyes of the individual spartans so thats not a problem.
Also am I dense but what changes fireteam color? I have frienldies red, enemy blue and fireteam color set as yellow.
I have been begging for that setting. I really badly wanna have enemy ui red but shield be the classic yellow. Preach this i hope 343 does this.

If you invite friends into your group/fireteam in the Multiplayer lobby, their shields/outlines will be yellow instead of red, with your settings, to easily differentiate them from randos in game.
