I am finding it impossible to play a legitimate match in this game, especially in ranked where it actually matters. I feel like this is intentional at this point.
I keep having these conversations about how bad it is and someone inevitably says “it’s not bad for me, you’re just missing shots”, when THIS is what is actually happening nearly every game.

Your average ping in many of your clips is 70 and in most of your clips the game even tells you that there is packet loss because of your internet connection. There are legitimate problems, but your video really just makes your internet connection look bad.
I have these same issues to an extent. Never have I had spartans jump around and teleport. BUT when heading to cover theres definitely been lag even without evidence of packet loss or internet connection issues… My last burst shots will be heavily delayed and happens to the enemy as well me so that shows desync indefinitely
70 ping isn’t bad, it just means I’m not on an ideal server. I get that just for playing on west coast host.
And the packet loss isn’t my internet, it’s the server yet again. My internet stays consistent at 200 download, 20 upload. It’s not my internet that’s causing this issue at all, it’s the game being broken.
So I have figured out that desync is one of the main reasons aim assist comes and goes. The game is ignoring what you see and tracking the person where they really are, which is one reason jumping ruins it too, there is a millisecond difference when you get airborne and they’re strafing etc where the game doesn’t see the person you’re looking at as really there. That’s why when the packet loss happens in those clips the aim assist vanishes mid fight.
I get anywhere from 20-40 ping and I am getting packet loss through all of it during the day. If i play past 2am central time I dont get any. Its mainly based on your local bandwidth, so now you can officially blame it on your neighbors
