Is anyone else have such a hard time playing any match? Every round I get into has such high lag spikes and bad rubber banding!!!

YES, the game is significantly worse now than before. Tons of moments where I shouldāve killed an enemy endlessly spraying my gun into their head and no kill?
Truely awful right now. Also tons of little lag spikes. Iām srsly just gonna give it up trying to play this game.

same thing. series x with expanded region. doesnāt matter whether my ping is high or low it just goes haywire every now and then (at least once every three games) i start rubberbanding. the network statistics says unstable latency and my ping is flying from its bottom end to 100-200+ and back.

Yup. I did not have any of these problems before the update.
It isnāt just you. My friend is also experiencing it. A whole lotta bullets not registering too.

Well looks like the game wonāt connect to the dedicated servers what so ever for me.
Havenāt even gotten to try the update and have quit and hard reset Halo Infinite multiple times now.
The game title screen has been updated but just not working

343 dropped the ball yet again. Even local region select gives you the lag and unstable packet loss and the game just goes crazy. This game is broken beyond repair. Just move on and play MW2 if you want a FPS that actually works like it should

Does anyone know if/when the bug fixes 343 discussed dealing with some of the hit registration and desync issues are being applied?
I was under the impression that they were coming with the Winter Update. But like everyone elseās observations, the issues seem just as bad if not worse since the Winter Update.
I just saw a tweet from Unyshek that the Ranked CSR/matchmaking updates they talked about for the Winter Update arenāt actually going live until Thursday so I didnāt know if I missed something about the desync stuff updating at a different time. (Itās a shame there isnāt one place we could go to actually get all of this information.)

Maybe on console, but on PC MW2 isnāt even playable due to crashing every 5 minutes for anyone with an Nvidia GPU.

I havenāt crashed once and Iām running a 3070. Fo to the nvidia website and download the hot fix driver 526.61. That should solve it. If not roll back your driver to 522.26

I think all around itās worse new and old consoles and pcās! I think a lot of people want to play the game but the server issues are just enough to have people not play and go else whereā¦ I know alot of my Xbox peers are just storming back to the MCC because of how bad the servers are in this state!
Yeah, I canāt find a match under 100 ping, and I live on the west coast. Also, desync issues have tripled. Now takes at the very least three shots to kill a āone shot.ā

I had one major lag spike last night playing a BTB match. I got my position reset twice and found myself lagging around. It was an interesting experience lol. I have the clip saved, just need to add it to my profile real quick.
Watching the clip again, my ping never went over double digits thought it fluctuated very quickly during the lag spike and subsequent rubberbanding.

Man Iāve had āgoodā games at 70 ping which seems the best I can do in my area. Since the update I canāt get 70 and the shot registration is all over the place. One person seems to be unkillable the entire game going 25-2 while everyone seems normal.

343 is just so disappointing top to bottom. This warrant a version rollback. The content we gained is not worth the game being more broken.

As EU player I have now ā¦
1 minutes average wait times .
Highest ping is 50 at worse , 30 average .
Before update I had 100-110 average.
Finally some fun
Just tried to play some games and quit after only two matches because in both of them I had instances where I would try to sprint and then start teleporting around the map. One match at 12 ping, the other at 30 ping. Its sucks wanting to play the game but you canāt because itās too frustrating dealing with issues like this.

I thought it rolled out with the update also. I played about 30 games yesterday without any lag. This was the most I played since season 2 came out. Today was expecting to have the same experience but my first 5/8 games I played were a lagfest.
Custom games, on the other hand, have been working without a hitch (for me and so far). Iāll mostly stick to those for a few days. And then go to other games until the online network problems are resolved. The core of the game is great, we finally have a decent amount of content with MM and customs. Itās a shame that network issues make a lot of this content inaccessible or aggravating to play through for people.
