The Semi-Official Map Testing Thread
Introduction:
Assuming that there isn’t already a thread for this and that I’m not posting this for nothing, this thread serves to give people who need their Forge maps tested a place to request fellow Spartans without worrying about their own thread being buried by others with the same purpose.
Ultimately, if you need people to help you test your map, please post it here instead of making your own thread for it. Also follow this EXACT template:
Map Name: State the name of the map and the map that it was created on.
Map Description: Describe the map itself, and the gametype(s) that will be used on it.
Game: State which game that you’re using.
When: State the date, time, AND the timezone that you will be holding your testing session.
Additional Details: State any details that are not covered in the previous categories.
Enjoy.
Please be aware of the Halo Waypoint Forum rules and the Xbox Live Code of Conduct or Terms of Service when posting here. If your map contains ANY content that breaks Forum rules, do not post it here.

Haha, well I see someone’s taking over my job now. Well, I did set up a thread for this about 6-8 months ago, but after I stopped playing Halo 4 my testing really died out (unfortunately) so it doesn’t matter. Glad someone decided to pick up the idea again. I’d offer to help but I can’t see my self playing Halo 4 any time soon, so sorry about that.
Anyway, have fun!
Map Name: Magnitude, Forge World
Map Description: Magnitude is a small tetra-symmetrical (it’s symmetrical on all 4 sides) that is designed primarily for FFA slayer with Oddball and KotH also supported. The testing session will consist of three games of each of the three gametypes.
Game: Halo: Reach
When: Wednesday, April 2. Friday, April 5. 4:00 PM, EDT
Additional Details: I need seven people to fully fill the map (it supports 8 players). If you decide to help, all you need to do is join the game. Do not try to join an XBL party, you won’t find any.
Please use this thread for feedback after the event. Andycu5 out.

I see my worries have been lifted. Hopefully this thread will last longer. It’d be nice to get it pinned, but that’s very unlikely given how half of the first page is pinned threads.
As for the last statement, this isn’t exclusive to Halo 4. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be a Halo map. The only restrictions are that it’s something that you made and something that you need help testing.
Map name: I haven’t decided
It plays with slayer only so far
Testing the map right now I need 13 people
It’s halo 4

Since I’m unable to help with any testing at the moment, is it possible that you host your testing at a later date, maybe tomorrow?
Also, (this applies to everyone) make your invitation post a day or two in advance from the actual session. This gives people time to be aware of the event, and gives them time to decide on whether or not to join.
If you make the invitation post at the same time as you host the event, you likely won’t have very many participants.
Map Name: Left 4 Dead: Act II, The Streets
Map Description: Following the escape from the chopper wreck and exodus through the sewers, it is time to leave the apartment hideout and seek out a Navy Carrier offering evacuation out of the city of Kirkland. (Designed with 12-16 players in mind using my L4D campaign gametype)
Game: Halo Reach
When: I will not have access to my xbox for a while to come now, however you would bring me great joy if you could download it from my Reach fileshare and provide any feedback you have.
Additional Details: This is the beta version of mission two in my Left 4 Dead Rezzurection campaign. Errors are expected to be found ,(as always), however I have effortfully made sure that map quality is more than satisfactory thus far.
