The recent Making of halo 4 infinity multiplayer video says this is “probably the biggest new sandbox toy” at about 9 mins. So the means the second vehicle that will be added most likely is not the mammoth.

Key word here being probably.
They said there would be TWO new vehicles.So they doing a good job of hiding the second one.
I suspect the mammoth is so big it can’t even be considered a “sandbox” vehicle.
Although, I would like to believe there’s a vehicle on Vortex/“the other one” that we haven’t seen yet. Maybe a reverent/ghost counterpart?

Sliding ghost what vehicles are you talking about?
The vehicle that they are talking about in the video is the mantis. I doubt there is a new mystery vehicle that has yet to be revealed. Im really wonderin why 343 hasn’t shown the revenant or the falcon yet. Im itching to see those vehicles in action in halo 4.

the revenant is not returning and the falcon is only in campaign but I dont know if it will be driveable in campaign or not.

Maybe they meant biggest in literal size.

343 never said anything specific about there being two new vehicles in MP. I wouldn’t get your hopes up if I were you.

THE MANTIS IS THE ONLY NEW MULTIPLAYER VEHICLE and there is NO FLYING UNSC VEHICLE IN MULTIPLAYER, ONLY THE BANSHEE
here is the list of vehicles you can forge into Ravine, if you can’t forge it into ravine it is not in multiplayer.

-Warthogs (you can select this for more options, probably regular and Gauss hog)
-Wraith
-Scorpion
-Ghost
-Banshee
-Mantis
-Shade turret

no but there is a forum of people asking questions to those people you are referring to. i was simply reading. there is even a screenshot of the vehicle selection in forge.
