So I understand the Scorpion has been removed from MM (with the exception of Dominion on Outcast). When the Scorpion makes a return what maps/game modes should it appear in?
I was just going through my stats and noticed I have 1 Scorpion kill on Shatter. I didn’t even realize the Scorpion was ever on Shatter. Does anyone remember this? Or did I get it in an ordnance drop? XP
I don’t remember a scorpion being in Shatter, how odd.
I think the Scorpion would be a great replacement for the Mantis on Ragnorak though, just a thought as I’ve never even placed a Scorpion on there
TBH, there not too many maps for the Scorpion, b/c if you look at the BTB maps, a lot of them are a little narrow, are “hilly”, and tend to have Rocks in the way. However, if the Scorpion returns, i hope its on Longbow. Shatter, it would be a “maybe”, b/c the map is a little narrow.

JK I miss the Scorpion and the Mantis has how many maps now? 4 or 5 while the Scorpion has 1 and only on one gametype that never shows up. 
Ragnarok would be interesting. Although it may render the Banshee somewhat useless. Maybe we’ll see the Scorpion on some new BTB forge maps (lets be honest they’ve got to be coming out with some soon).
I personally would like to see the Scorpion used in a BTB map similar to how Rockets are used in 4v4.
The wraith would be better suited for Ragnorok (ironic, since default Valhalla on Halo 3 has a wraith). Rocket hogs are fun, but make it too easy to take out the banshee.
I wish someone would make a BTB map using Forge Islands for a giant Blood Gulch-esque area where larger vehicles could roam free.

Its a little off topic, but I am considering making a canyon in Forge Island for a Flood variant where the Flood pilot Banshee’s and the Spartans pilot Mantises. I think it would be pretty fun with a big enough lobby.
i wish it would be a little more powerful (in terms of armor). since anyone can spawn with a plasma pistol. it makes the scorpion a coffin.

Maybe we will see some BTB Heavies introduced. This would allow the Scorpion to be on all the BTB maps.
I think the Scorpion would work well in the new DLC in the city.

It’s more of a case that the Mantis is best fitted for more maps due to how it plays and it being smaller.
The scorpion doesn’t have as much room to freely move around like the wraith as well. Even though they both are big in size the wraith can rotate unlike the scorpion which has to turn all of its chassis.
Halo 4 does not have an open field map (Hemorrhage), where heavy vehicles can thrive.
Valhalla would be an issue getting from behind the bases out into the ares near the hill. The “Radio” plane would be a good place, but you’d have to get there…
What if some forge BTB maps are made with the scorpion? I’d love that, I dislike Mechs and Forge Island is a great template

Perhaps Ragnarok could have a single Scorpion for the 2 teams to fight over. It could be placed by the Mounted Turret. The only issue is that it might be more accessible to Red than Blue simply because of how the map is laid out. Red side has a more direct route for a Mongoose than Blue.

yes some maps similar to Reachs big maps would be better for the heavies. Ragnarok is better for the wraith, revenant, mantis and the Hogs
