The Scorpion Is So Stupid

It is already 100% based on luck if you can even get one. You have to
*Hope your team is ready to help try and take it.
*Hope the enemy team isnt rallying at its drop zone.
*Hope the enemy team doesnt have every single power weapon.
*Hope there isnt a BR/sniper camper overwatching the drop zone.
*Hope the pelican drops it when its supposed to drop and not wait until your entire team is dead to drop it.

The hassle isnt even over then. You then have to worry about people who can just grapple onto the back of the tank and melee it 5 times and all that effort was for nothing.

Now comes my favorite part. The scorpions controls are just so stupid, and as far as I can see there is no way to change them. Basically, you can only move when there is either no targets to shoot, or the target is directly in front of you because if you try to move and there is a target beside you or behind you, the tank does so many stupid things. It assumes that if you turn the cannon around, the forward button will continue to drive you forward, but if you take your hand off the forward button for one second and press it again, the forward button now drives you reverse. If the cannon is facing to either side, the tank itself will turn to that direction. It just makes no sense, why does the crosshairs make the tank rotate? Why cant I just use the A or D key to turn it? If I am lucky enough to get a scorpion in the first place, the controls make it more like a death trap than a reward.

I suggest
*Change the way the tanks spawn throughout a game. I think that two sets of tanks should spawn at both teams bases at the beginning of the game, and after either team scores twice for objective modes and reaching 50 kills in slayer.
*(Please correct me if I am wrong) Allow us to change vehicle controls to not use the crosshairs to steer, only using the A/D key or the left joystick.
*Remove the ability to grapple onto tanks. I think the grapple shot makes vehicles alot weaker and already encourages wasp users to camp behind mountains and only attack when the enemies are distracted. Because if the enemy team catches him for even a second, they have all these different things that excel at destroying vehicles.

BINGO.

WHOEVER thought the random vehicle drops was a good idea seems to forget the maps are too small for it to be viable.

I haven’t had a chance to drive a Scorpion once, since Playing Infinite. Past Halo’s I used them all the time

We need BTB multiplayer maps that were big like Halo CE’ PC Death Island and Phobia map and like Halo 2’s Waterworks and Containment.

And you’re right, there should at least be tanks at the beginning of the game at base spawns
