The Scorpion is desperate of some changes

For a number of reasons I feel like the Scorpion isn’t nearly as good as it was in previous Halo games for the following reasons:

  • The movement controls are garbage. - It can easily get stuck in a little rock or something in the map, which is extremely frustrating. - It is simply way too easy to board a Scorpion.
I know right off the bat that several of you are going to bash me. Please, just take notice of these before you post. I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who thinks these are big problems that need to be fixed.

I agree with movement controls, and getting stuck (which plays in with movement controls) but mounting? I’ve had so many times where I run around the scorpion trying to mount it, unsuccessfully. I’m pretty sure you can only mount from the rear (lol) I mean, what more do you need?

I do agree with the control and collision but instead of making it harder to mount give the tank a little speed buff so an aware player can defend themselves more easily

I got stuck on the same rock TWICE on apex, it’s one of them outside of blue base.

You can get plant made from the front of the scorpion too but to plant a nade u need to jump on the front and then mount.

Its hard to drive backwards with it, for some reason.

I think its ok actually i mean i see your point but i also anderstand why they did this trying to balance things out, because all of the past Halo games didnt have every single weapon and vehicle in one map. for example every single person on your team can spawn a Scorpion if they saved their recs up which would be overpowered for shure. I do agree with you though that it is too easy to board but we normally only notice this when we are the only ones on the team with a Scorpion and you are targeted by most of the team. All and all I am sort of half and half on this argument.

Holy god.

The exact same thing happened to me today. I rolled my big boy right out of my base and immediately get stuck on a rock. Seriously, this a game that is set in the future. Even the very first tanks used in WWI didn’t get stuck in the slightest if pebbles.
