I personally have never liked the idea of relying on a teammate to use it. It should be under driver control like in Halo 2 specifically. I understand a lot of people would disagree due to “overpower” but at this point I dont agree with that. Halo was always more fun with overpowered things, and there hasn’t been a good scorpion since Halo 2. I feel that the design introduced by Halo 3 was terrible and I find the support for it baffling. Lastly tanks get destroyed quickly, they can use all the help they can get.
I think its better to have a second guy on the turret so he can focus on keeping enemies from boarding you
If you ever have an ONI Scorpian having someone in gunner is key

I like having a teammate in the gunner seat they are like a spotter for me same with the guy that rids on top of the tank

For the boarder to get an easy double kill, yes.

Nah gurl. I’ve killed a good number of people with that turret before, we also had a few guys covering our back though

I miss the old scorpion where you controlled the chaingun and the turret… but what i wish we could do in halo 5 is have someone driving the tank, someone on the chaingun and 4 people riding the outside providing support… kind of like how the marines did in halo 3. That would be fun.
Kind of off topic but i was hoping the scout warthog was more then a two person vehicle… Like you could load up 3 people in the back and take off.

Well 343 said we were going to have the grizzly tank and all but promised we would have it in multiplayer, along with a host of other vehicles… but they have said and promised alot but have yet to deliver.

No. That’s the risk you take when you choose a tank. You can ruin just about anyone’s day quickly, but get EMP’d or mistime a shot and that’s about all she wrote.

there were people who speculated this but 343 never said themselves that they would implement this
