Is anyone else annoyed at how powerful this thing is? It’s an AR with double the clip and double the firing speed. Not to mention every kid chooses it as an ordinance drop in Infinity slayer. Please nerf this thing 343!

It only comes in an ordinance so its okay with me. I find it fun as hell to use.

I feel its power wanes from medium to long range, and can be beat fine.

Here is a list of problems I have with the SAW…
I’ve easily held it nearly an entire game.
I single handedly held the Mech room with it for 8 minutes earlier today.
I was standing next to a Shotgun holding the sniper and had a choice between the SAW, a Binary Rifle, and Oversheild as my ordinance and I chose the SAW and used it to kill the dude who snuck up on me and picked up the Shotgun.
To the best of my knowledge I’ve never been killed holding it unless it was out of Ammo.
It almost never runs out of ammo if you pace it.
IT HAS A TON OF AMMO.
I’ve personally unbalanced a few games using it from a vantage point at a range which would render the standard Assault rifle useless.
I managed to down a ghost as it charged me down before it reached me.
Say this weapon isn’t broken all you want the reality is I’ve seen it spawn at the beginning of the game and if the right person grabs it they can run the game. A rocket has MAYBE 6 useful kills if you’re amazing with it and can drop a full warthog. The Binary rifle has 6 kills if you don’t miss. The Scattershot is next to impossible to predictably aim at anything beyond absolutely point blank range. Overshield decays, +Damage and +Speed have duration and make you glow. The SAW comes with enough ammo that I’ve ended games with 10+ SAW kills and only ever touched the SAW once (This didn’t even include the time I used it to take out a fully loaded warthog)
10+ kill weapon with AMAZING short to medium-long range, a huge amount of ammo, no need to scope and useable basically on demand? It needs to be tuned down a bit.

The only issue with it is how common it is. It needs to show up in the POD’s less.
