When you get a match on Mercy go and pick up the SAW and make note of how many clips it has. Then wait until you get Mercy again and repeat. There’s a very big chance that the SAW has a different amount then the first time. I’ve been grinding a lot of FFA lately (Champ 4 whoo!) and have played on this map a lot. I’ve noticed this glitch since the map came out but never felt like posting about it.
There’s not much to say, so I’m just going to say it. Sometimes the SAW only contains one magazine then other games it will contain two. I don’t know if this was intentional, I don’t see why it would be. I’m just wondering if this is something that 343 would try to fix. Playing FFA and having a guy run around with two mags of SAW is annoying AF. (That’s how I win that map most of the time lol)

It has to do with the power weapon timer, when the timer runs down and the saw is still there instead of saying that the saw is available, it just gives it more ammo.

Huh…I actually did not know that despite the time I been playing Halo. Well thats nice to know.

Nah, it’s not that. Doesn’t explain how it varies at the start of the match. Plus, have you ever seen a power weapon remain untouched for a full 2 minutes in high level play? It rarely lasts more than 20 seconds.

I thought I noticed this playing slayer the other day… Except I was under the impression the 2-clip SAW was the “normal” version.

Play patient and learn the spawns. As much as anyone wants to say they win because of skill, it’s definitely power weapon control I’m not really that great, but I play slow and smart while also doing my best to keep power ups/weapons. As far as the pistol goes, it just takes practice. Low sensitivities help a lot. Another piece of great information…steal kills
To get champ in FFA you just have to be consistent. You don’t have to win all the time, just keep in the top 3 or 4.

I’ve noticed it in custom games, it could also be that whoever dropped it took it from another person with a Saw.
