It has come to my awareness that the elites will not be returning to matchmaking in this game. This is unfortunate news for many people.
The Sangheili Community: The sangheili communtiy have been a large part of the community since the times of halo 2. They have done many things, large clan battles and
Maps, new gametypes and many other things.
They are here too. And without the return of the sangheili, they shall either return to halo 3, or disband. Do you really want to kill the thing that made them played the game 343i? You are killing a large part of the community in this.
Look around you. On every thread you will see at least 1 person with an elite or elite related avatar. The community is large.
The Machinima community: Without the elites, the machinimas will be bland and pointless. Fan favourite machinimas will have no choice but to continue on the older games, to utilise the elites. The machinima population will whither because of this.
343i, i am asking you to put the elites back in the game. For our sake.
Community! Thank this post so the voices of the people can be heard. This is a petition. Let us see how many likes we can get before its too late.
Please 343i, heed our words. Bring back the elites for multiplayer.
Then sign the petition (Thank the post above). I want to get as many people as i can to sign this, because even if we cant get them back now, halo 5 will come out eventually.

I never said you were. However, good luck with getting 343i to listen to you if you want something in the game. Because you clearly dictate that obviously respect doesnt matter.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say you are the type of person who thinks your opinion is the only one that matters.

We are all part of this game. I could say that for much of the people that are part of the competitive community too, considering their threats to quit.
But some people like the game for different reasons than others. And i talk to the elite community. Look at the thread “Sangheilie (Elites) In halo 4 Matchmaking?” Most of the elite clans are going back to halo 3 or disbanding.
We are all part of this game. We are all part of the people who made this game what it is today. We all have equal opinions in the matter.
im with you 100% dude the elites are awsome being only able to play as elites in certain gametypes in reach wasnt good enough dont get me wrong i love invasion and elite slayer but that just wasnt enough. and now they apparantly arnt even in halo 4 matchmaking.

This is true. However, it has come to my attention that they said competitive mathcmaking. It is my geuss that, if elites do return, invasion will likely not be ranked or in the competitive area.
This is speculation mind you. I must say however, if the elites are gone, invasion will be missed.

I wouldnt go so far as to say the spartans suck. While i like the elites, i do like the spartans as well. I just cant bare the impact that this will have on much of the comunity. I agree with you however, those to gametypes did not fill the role that the elites could have, and should have played.
