so i have been waiting for my specialization code now for weeks. didnt get it in an email, but i finally got it TODAY in a message on my xbox live.
well, the code does not work. so i called microsoft and they told me that the code was used on december 1st by another user. they also told me that 343 handles the codes and they do not have any new ones to give out. yet i was told here on waypoint that microsoft is the one who handles the codes…
i spoke to two different reps on the phone, one for almost an hour. he says the code i received TODAY was used by someone else on the 1st and there is nothing he can do.
so before an admin gives me one of those links claiming they sent out codes already and closes my topic, how about giving me a number to 343 or whoever handled the codes, because microsoft says it is NOT them.
sorry if i seem frustrated, its because i am. i have been waiting for weeks, stuck at level 70, and when i finally get a code, its a code that has already been used almost 3 weeks ago by someone else. that is a bit asinine. i googled 343 customer service number and i found nothing. microsoft says this is the place to fix the problem. so now what do i do?
