Can it be worn in other game types? Or only in ricochet?
If you try and use it in another game type a odst will be dispatched to you location to destroy your disc
The Ricochet armour set is just like any of the other armour in the game.
If you try to wear it in Spartan Ops, you will only be seen with a recruit helmet.
The armor is designed for multiplayer.
The Ricochet is treated like any other armour and you can wear it in any gametype.
However, none of the Champions Bundle DLC will work in Spartan Ops as it was not built with it in mind, so
if you head into Spartan Ops with Ricochet armor, it will revert to default Recruit. Same goes with Mark V and ODST, as well as Prefect.

So the UNSC Would risk wasting a ODST Drop pod and the operator to destroy a disc of the users wearing the helmet? It’s a shame when they hit and die, or miss their intended target and 343 has to explain why they killed a highly skilled soldier on a mission as dumb as that. For shame 343 for shame…
