What does the Halo community think of the Ricochet forearms?
As for me? I personally love them, and I must applaud 343i for bringing this beautiful armour piece in.
Before the Champions DLC, some creative Halo fans with sharp, eagle eyes and mind were able to see that the forearms displayed on most of the Spartans in the promo pics were unable for use in the armory. These were also the forearm pieces used by the Recruit Spartans in Halo 4’s campaign and Spartan Ops.
I am a Halo “canon freak”, who wishes for as much things in game to follow Halo canon as much as possible. This means that I prefer to wear full armor sets (because War Games is now considered to be canon), not mix and match like most of you. And before I got my hands on the Ricochet forearm piece, it really bothered me that I was unable to use what most Spartans in the display pictures and campaign/Spartan Ops wore.
With the introduction of Champions DLC, we are finally given this magnificent armor piece which I’ve always wanted ever since November 6, and I am truly happy for that
