now i dunno if you guys remember but halo 4 had a boltshot too and as you guys now there is a feature that isnt in the halo 5 boltshot version which i guess u can call it scattershot bullet , it was amazing and it would be cool to have it again as a legendary version , what do you think?

Going off what I’ve read on here, it seems that most people disliked the “pocket-shotgun” secondary fire mode of the H4 Boltshot.
I think some things should be left behind sometimes, If any weapon from halo 4 should return it should be sticky detonator.

it might’ve not been so bad had you not spawn with them.
@op: if it stays as a warzone variant sure, but it’s something 343 needs to keep out of arena. Honestly tho there’s no need when there’s already various shotguns that fill the same function anyways though.

Loved setting up a base with all the Dominion turrets and watching how quickly they shredded everything.
Sticky Detonator was good for trapping vehicles.

The Boltshot was a shotgun in that game. Like wtf?!? Who thought that was a good idea?

That explains alot. I’m new to H5 and the other day I tried charging it and was like “wtf I thought this gun charged” and just thought I was drunk, but didn’t even remember about H4. H4 is such a forgettable Halo game lol

Open Hand and Closed Fist are personal weapons of Endurance-of-Will. I can’t see her use a weapon called The Finger. Just sounds weird.

Even though I’m not a big boltshot user myself, I honestly prefer H5 Boltshot>H4 boltshot any-day. The mini shotgun was THE WORST.
They intentionally removed it because people complained it was OP.
It was literally all you saw as a secondary weapon when the game first came out, because the range used to be MASSIVE.
