I Know it wont happen but does anyone besides me think that it would be cool if the rookie and his squad from odst were in halo 4? mabey make a cameo appearence or even be some of the spartan 4’s. so what do you guys think?

rookie returning would be great in HALO 4 as it was good to hear buck in halo reach which made it extra cool but I would want him returning in future HALO titles as HALO 4 is a dawn of a new trilogy and back to the master chief

Buck and his squad will almost certainly reappear in Halo 4 or a later Halo game. We all love those guys after all, who wouldn’t want to fight alongside those ODSTs again?

Rookie was around at the end of the war in 2552 (Young too). In fact, I believe it was November, 2552. Halo 4 takes place 4 years after then. I don’t think he’s retired.

Why not have rookie in detail explain the layout for each mission in Halo 4, using audio only?
Seriously though, it would be fun if Chief would come and save them when they’re pinned down by enemies, all hope lost. Hoped for such scene in ODST and Reach, Chief (the man) saving the weak and inferior excuses for Halo main characters (though I like the ODST)

Won’t happen. The Rookie is kind of like a loose cookie. He probably won;t have a return, and if he does, it shouldn’t be too much.
It amazes me how some people don’t know the timeline yet.

Rookie would still be in the ODST’s. Anyway he was one of my favorite characters and I’d love to see him back. I also loved Six (How could you hate Six, basically Six was you.) But Six is dead so he/she won’t be back.

Actually better yet. They shouldn’t put Rookie in Halo 4 and instead make a book series about his squad.

It is a possibility. A slim possibility but seeing how 4’s are volunteers by all rights he could have made it.
