In all of the Halo games up to reach, The ODST and Marines had a lot of memorable dialogue. But in Halo 4 and Halo 5 most of this dialouge was replaced by random dialouge that didn’t fit well with me. I would like to see the classic style of dialouge resurface, but that is only my opinion, what do you guys think about this?

Yeah I’ve missed characters like Chipps Dubbo. Would be nice to have the old marine pluck back in the games. It really added to the experience in the old games because every time you were around, the marines became suddenly more confident. It made you feel like a true bad -yoink- whenever you played alongside them.
I’m all for it. I’m not too familiar with 4/5s marines, but the context-based quotes of old make them feel like a reactive, living part of the world instead of generic helpful AI.

”I heard that… -Yoink!-.”
That’s just one quote of so many. I can’t think of any in H4/5 that come close to it. So yeah, totally want to see the classic quotes again.
I miss miranes having funny lines while you play the game. In Halo 5, your team just constantly talks all the time and it wasn’t even about the mission.
The old marine quotes were something to lighten/spice up the gameplay in form of audio, in addition to the music and sound effects themselves.
So like in other topics that have been dropping about this occasionally. Hopefully NPCs will have some actual memorable dialogue, other than scripted that is. Gives more meaning and life to the characters that roam around in the gameplay.

While we’re at it, let’s not forget how marines on the Hog turret could raise a hand and a hurrah when you had enough mid-air time.

I agree bring back the old dialouge. H3 was really good with the marines and i think the dialouge was thought of and used well hopefully they bring it back with infinite
