Last I recalled, there was a flood spore on the spirit of fire. Now with halo wars 2 finally happening, do you think we will finally see a return of the flood?
More then likely. Though i don’t think they’ll be a main protagonist.

They did. What I’m feeling is they Evacuated ship and ended up stranded on a brute controlled world
I am hoping that halo wars 2 takes place between halo wars and halo escalation. So that there will be this series of events that allowed that flood spore to appear on the Spirit of Fire.

I’m pretty sure the Flood will find a way to show up in the game.
I severely doubt 343i teased the Flood being on the Spirit of Fire, just to not put them in the game. That would be so stupid.
I’m actually wondering if the Brutes are actually survivors of the Shield World, whom had Flood onboard their ship, and then when they boarded the Spirit of Fire, they brought the Flood onboard the Spirit of Fire.
After all, the Spirit of Fire’s chief medical officer made Yoink sure that all the Flood specimens onboard the Spirit of Fire were destroyed. Granted, one single Flood Spore/Infection Form could have somehow escaped/hid itself.
