I don’t mind the fact that it’s returning, I wouldn’t mind no matter what weapons are brought back this time around, s long as they’re balanced. What I don’t want is another Halo 3, where the BR had no opposition, besides power weapons in their ideal situation, the BR was always the best choice for any scenario. Halo became a game ‘Who can get the first 3 or 4 shots to the head’, which I found extremely boring and lacking in tact.
Halo 2 had a very balanced BR, pretty much every weapon had it’s place, especially with the addition of dual-weilding(which I’m hoping they bring back to this game). Anyway, just hoping it’s not the only viable option to fight with, and wondering if anyone else got bored of the battle rifle meta that was Halo 3. ‘Competitive’ they called it I think.
Here’s to hoping for the best Halo yet, I have faith in you 343, I hope to find you GUILTY of SPARKing my interest. Oh snap. Please, no applause.
