hopefully this playlist makes a return in halo 4 its always has been my favorite
I hate the playlist to death.
You know?
I used to hate SWAT (ironic, since I’m going to be SWAT certified with my police department) but I’m starting to really love it.
I really hope we see the return of this playlist and gametype. Hopefully with it’s own playlist at the start of Halo 4’s lifespan.
Personally, i’m okay with it, I don’t love or hate it.
If your’e REALLY accurate and can get shots to the head easily, you should get a kick out of it.
Some people hate it because they don’t even get a chance to hit their opponent and they die instantaneously.
I think that the only thing stopping you from having fun in the playlist is your skill level.
I’d like to see it return, though.
Ya it should come back. Its very different, requires a certain degree of skill, and is very popular.
It just has a unique gameplay feeling from other playlists and i think thats important for a game like Halo.
I can’t wait to see Halo 4’s swat. I didn’t play much of it in Halo 3 b/c I was always really busy then, but I even liked Reach’s (the only thing I didn’t like about swat on Reach were the maps). It’s a great gametype no matter if we have a BR or a single shot weapon.

Skill level? It takes the skill factor out of Halo. Swat is basically the generic shooter like CoD with basically one hit kills. I do agree with keeping it with Halo because nothing needs to be taken away. Some people like it, and I am okay with that. But skill level? Swat dumbs the skill down.
I love swat. Helps me practice making sure to get the head shots. Like snipers.
Hope to see its return and see no reason for it not to.
Hate SWAT, host wins every time.

trollollol
I hated SWAT at first, then I grew to love it. I sincerely hope it’s in Halo 4 right away! ;D

SWAT in reach is horrible. But in Halo3 its awesome
BR and Ranked ;D

I would disagree with that statement. It leads to much quicker gameplay, response time and accuracy are paramount. lack of shields adds to the realism and brings the death penalty when mistakes are made. No shields, AA, or grenades, just guns blazing. You may not find it fun, but it does require some skill to finish with a positive k/d in SWAT. I’m hoping for it in FFA.
I love SWAT. Only playlist I could get my 50. Closest was Lone Wolves with a 40.
Anyways SWAT required skill because if you don’t hit the head you will almost never get a kill.
SWAT and Invasion are the only playlists I play in Reach.

Its not only because u need to aim. Its team work and callouts what made Halo3 SWAT awesome. In reach its simply camping.
Im not sure if i like swat or not (te he that rhymes). I can take it or leave it.
I’d be more surprised if it DIDN’T return, honestly. It’s been around since H2 so I would guess it’s a “default” playlist at this point.

that was what was going through my mind, lol
and i both like and dislike swat, it’s a gametype you have to be a mood in to play

as far as i can remember it wasn’t a playlist right off the bat in reach but i could be wrong on that one. but really it helped me learn to aim not just pull the trigger i recommend it to any new player with the warning that the learn curve is steep but the rewards far outweigh it
I hate swat… but thats just because its basically about how good your internet is at times. Even the slightest lag puts you at a huge disadvantage.
