Double xp weekends were awesome because we got to play sick gametypes like Living Dead and Rocket race! it also increased the population on H3 on weekends!
With all these new players coming into the game it will hard to grind it out on the normal xp, I think this will help keep a large number of new players in the community.
343 Please bring it back
Loved double xp and was great when it was living dead weekend use to play that all weekend had so much fun.
i dont think they can with the whole legacy tech issue.
Just because the game is free for half a month doesn’t mean 343i is going to start super supporting Halo 3 with double XP weekends, Recon armor, free DLC or whatever else this forum is cooking up.
It’s free for half a month, enjoy it because it’s going to die off again in November.
For halo 5? Yes definitely, for the reasons you’ve given.
For halo 4? Nope, it’s too late and it only takes less than 8 hours gameplay to get to top rank.
