you still not have answer my question and this time i have ask it to you a few postâs ago.
my question was: and since you ask it will be halo 3 again then tell me what other halo game has a infection game type and has no sprint also the same time?
Classic halo gameplay sold 15 million copies and made halo separate from any other First person shooters look at csgo for example or counter strike in general they stuck to their core roots of gameplay and they are still killing it in the casual and competitive scene and itâs been out for years and years bungie new reach was there last halo so they tried some new things in reach which strayed away from core gameplay and they admit this halo has a golden triangle weapons melee grenade halo 2 broke this due to spawning with a dual wield able weapon which they then corrected this in halo 3 with the assault rifle what halo 5 is today is not how halo was intended to be or should be played its way too much in my opinion and many others halo should return to complete classic gameplay besides halo doesnât need sprint due to map design and vehicles having sprint and all these other abilities means less opportunity to outplay your opponent whereâs classic halo Iâm speaking halo 3 2 CE outplaying your opponent was rewarding it took real skill due to the map design and the movement system the maps have way more creativity with the classic movement system but itâs obvious 343 wonât go back because they only listen to the fans that actually like halo 5 mechanics and those people donât actually understand halo well not all of them obviously there are OG players that may prefer it but the best idea is to go back to the roots of mechanics as they have with art style as the classic mechanics did kind of sell 15 MILLION copies but oh well Iâm just another bungie die hard just because i think the old halo mechanics should Be reintroduced

I donât know why you bothered to ask me that, since you make it imply that making it anything less than Halo 5 means it making it more like Halo 3. Iâve increased the movement speed, now itâs less like Halo 3.
Sure Iâll humor you, Halo 3 is the only game without Sprint but with InfectionâŚother than Halo 2âs honor rules.
Of course, now youâre deflecting again. Why do you need Sprint if you just admitted that you donât need it, just moving faster in general?

So CE, 2 and 3 sold 15 million copies based on classic movement mechanics alone? No other reason except classic movement mechanics?
Canât you see how silly this one dimensional argument really is basing sales figures on movement mechanics?
Should I just go and add up reach H4 h5 sales figures and state how well they really did in spite of the, enhanced movement mechanics as proof that x movement mechanics are good or bad ? No it would be a flawed analysis at best

i have make for you special a short movie for you to show you the diffrendâs with basic moving speed and with sprint from a hidding spot in complex what the players in the game type flood most use as hidding spot.
and i ask you to try it on halo MCC forge the halo 4 map complex.
and you will see to reach that spot without sprint you need a basic moving speed off 150% and you see then also thats to fast for a basic moving speed what normal 110% is. https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/spikanor/video/73226783 do you like to see that basic moving speed becomeâs 150% to make the sprint players also happy that there can do still do tricks like that or is to have sprint still a good idea to have?
I like to keep the Sprint in the next Halo, I like to have the feeling of quick mobility as a Spartan and not the feeling of some guy that ate the whole buffet that has limited mobility.

Theres obviously other factors in play that have caused the decline in halo, but since reach and every halo after has tampered with the movement and gameplay there has been a huge drop in interest and players there is absolutely no denying it. Some fraction may like the new mechanics but the vast majority donât. Thats why the population is but a fraction of what it used to be.
IF the new games sold way more copies than the old games then you could argue the movement mechanics are a good edition. But pros and casual players alike donât like the advanced movement and they outnumber the players who like them

And I counter that with an (ex) 343i employee saying that maps in Halo 5 play fine without Sprint if you increase the movement speed by just 20%
You know, the Twitter post you ignored.
Remember when you said 343i probably knows more about issues than we do? I guess that means they know more than you do too, therefore no Sprint is fine, again by your own definition.
Youâve been here so long youâre contradicting yourself every post.

Theres a lot of things you can do to make the game feel faster, sprint is a poor attempt to make the game feel faster and it causes huge detriments to how to game plays and how to maps are made (among a myriad of other things)

âQuickâ and âLimitedâ mobility arenât really opposites.
A car has really quick mobilityâŚin one direction. I mean the whole point of the Ghost is the ability to âSprintâ really fast in one direction, but as a result you canât manuver much at all while youâre doing it.

thats just it. Its just the âfeelingâ of going faster. Halo 3âs midship plays faster than halo 5âs version of the map. Sprint is an illusion of speed and is damaging to halo

you know what i have told you about that post.
and i gone replay it again: i not have and not use twitter and hallo its a EX employee from 343 then he can tell things like that its the same that the EX employee from treyarch has done 4 monthâs ago.
you mean make the basic moving speed 130%?
130% basic moving speed is still worthless if you go for tricks like that thenyou need max 150% basic moving speed to match with sprint.
and i bet you not have try it on your own.
you have see what the distince is what the sprint option in halo 4 has create for disctince its maybe 2 or 3 meters longer but in game typeâs like infection the 2/3 extra meters it giveâs can save you live in that playlist.
most off the comunety hate the basic moving speed only in halo and you see that now more on this thread back that players that hate only basic moving speed show there love for sprint and thats something 343 is also seeing that only going back to the classicâs never will be good.
i have ask you to try that trick in halo MCC forge on the halo 4 map complex but it seems you not wane give it a try to see how others see it.
is the reason you guys wane have only basic moving speed is that you all miss the jump shoot mechanic there have remove in halo reach and never has come back is that something you guys miss and that thanks to sprint you cant do that more thats my question for you.

haha you gotta be kidding buddy. The entirety of your argument revolves around but but but YoU cAnT MaKe JuMpS wItHoUt SpRiNt. But you ignore the extent to which sprint hurts a number of gameplay elements such as map design, flow of gameplay, map control, skill of gunfights, and weapon balance. The majority of the community does NOT like sprint and the advanced movement, thats why the game has so few players compared to the classic titles.
Using waypoint polls to measure the communities opinion on a game mechanic is not an accurate representation of what the community wants at large

the majority off the comunnety not wane see any microtransactions in the halo game but 343 is still doing it that means the majority off the comunnety means notting more what 343 most do and not most do.
that means if 343 wane add sprint in halo and keep with it the majority that not wane see it in halo gameâs have notting to tell about it.

Yes, Sprint increases your speed (obviously) thats why certain jumps can be made using it. BUT when 343 designs maps they must be made larger to accommodate for the sprint speed. So maps have huge lines of sight that make the use of sprint necessary and then small areas where combat usually happens. This splits up movement and combat which is not good, because at halos core was the ability to run and gun.
Im arguing that sprint hurts the gameplay of halo and is detrimental to the halo style of gameplay and flow, and you seem to be hung up on asserting that sprint mak s you go faster so you can jump larger distances to get to certain places on the map.
If the maps werenât stretched out and built to accommodate sprint, then you could make the jumps without sprint in the first place

disagree even if sales were strong in later titles to single out movement mechanics the sole or even major reason is flawed .logic and analysis.
Sweeping statements about movement mechanics and player population decline may hold some truth but again the picture is so much bigger just one part of the game .
