So what do you call a “camper” that relocates like a sniper? A Creeper?
A camper that has died and moved to the nearest corner upon respawning.
I have seen this happen WAY too often.
I especially hates them ones that move everywhere in crouch mode. Like EVERYWHERE.
Like spawn into Oddball and they immediately go crouching off to hide.
You are a Spartan God -Yoink!-. Stand up and act like one.
I only crouch-walk to be sneaky to flank enemies that are likely watching their radar so my bois across the way can keep firing at them and keep them distracted while I slip behind for a backsmack or a sticky grenade toss.
While I disagree with the camping ideas, I do agree with the asymmetrical maps. Some of Halo’s best maps have been asymmetrical playgrounds of pure fun.
As long as the bases are fair (same amount of cover, weapons/vehicles, ‘exits’, etc.), that is the most important thing.
That is also why for example i found Hang Em High such a bad map, because one side had a way superior spawn to the other.
We need maps that do have advantageous positions where a team can set up… Come down to earth an see there are advantageous positions worth holding reality check. I’m actually more willing to pay for some story mode DLC over a map pack but this topic was worth discussing with the community. I like the maps out now an glad we got some new ones. Streets is an example of the type of maps I’m hoping we may see more of in the future!
Spawn is a good option. Otherwise 4v4 maps have good cover too, such as rooms or the tower on live fire.
Yes, for the asymmetrical maps, as they are generally more realistic and provide a unique attack vs. defense style gameplay most FPS games seem to lack.
As for the camping part, I’ll see you in hell.
These are usually suited to 1 flag or assault, 343 seems to distancing themselves from these game types.
