Do you think 343 will bring back Assault mode in Guardians? Would you like to see it return for that matter, I’ve been playing a ton of it in MCC on Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer and it is a blast! (no pun intended.) I actually enjoy playing Single Bomb Assault more than the two bomb one, with a good team you really can get in there and get things done. I wasn’t a fan of “Extraction” mode in 4 and I feel that was what they chose for the replacement, I’m hoping they bring it back.

I imagine there’ll be a spiritual successor, similar to how Strongholds is a successor to Territories.

I’m glad others agree, I actually didn’t play Halo 2 originally when the multiplayer was around (I didn’t have an Xbox then) so I was super surprised it was only in 2. I think it is a ton of fun but like other team based modes cooperation is key
I enjoyed it more than CTF.
I hope it does. It’s a great game type.

Yes I absolutely love it I have so much fun playing it on the remastered maps, if you get a team of good players there are so many ways to play it…I usually play a lot of team slayer so it is a nice break sometimes.
