The req system sucks

Oh wow a banshee ultra finally after playing since release I unlocked one.
Well I’m doing pretty good in this Warzone match I may as well give my one and only banshee ultra a go.
‘1 second after spawning’ Oh crap a scorpion AAH no it hit me i better ge… ‘get spartan lasered’.
The sad tale of why i hate the req system… and of course it’s a micro transaction based system.
Do not have this in Halo 6 please even though I know you will be MONEY MONEY YEY WE LOVE MONEY

I have tanks and lasers and have not purchased req packs.

I like it.

I think it’s ok.

I have several banshee ultra and never bought any packs. Any vehicle against a tank and spartan laser is going to get destroyed.

seriously? you people think it’s a good thing for the franchise? I am so baffled as to why

The free DLC is nice. I mean, we all saw what happened with Halo 4. The expansion pack lasted a month then it died out.

but that’s just it, it isnt even free DLC because everything theyve added are just things that were in previous halos and not this one for some reason so if you think about it the only real free DLC we’ve been given are some weapon skins and bad looking armor sets… wow yea cheers 343

Don’t get me wrong, there should be items unlockable by commendation or achievement only, but overall with all the weapons and vehicles the method works. Yeah if you buy packs you unlock everything a lot quicker but I grinded to get everything and never saw it hinder anything. I lost a banshee ultra in seconds on a match, even had one stolen, doesn’t mean it’s broken.

Uh…
you’re level 65, and you’ve been playing since release? That’s barely playing at all man. I took about a 4 month break (at least) from Halo 5 while I was playing another game and I’m almost level 100.

As for getting shot down after using a REQ that’s just the chance you take. You see a laser aiming at you? You do some evades. See a scorpion? He can’t kill an Ultra with full health in one hit. Just bomb him to death and evade. Every vehicle has their disadvantages.

it’s still a bad system and is only there because microsoft want MICRO TRANSACTIONS in Halo… are you kidding me? people are fine with this?

lol I hardly spent any real money for the req system. Except for the HCS packs and warzone req bundle. I already unlocked everything at the end of December and I started from launch. Goes to show that you don’t need to pay to win. Not only that, basic power weapons like the standard shotgun is still effective, and that can be easily unlocked from bronze packs.

You Don’t have to pay. Yes they are making money from them…it paid for the dlc. Yes we should have had all of this at the beginning but we didn’t. They are bringing in new vehicles, weapons ( armor doesn’t matter to me) with each update and most we wouldn’t have seen in the first place. Could the system use some tweaks? Absolutely!

Ah, yes. The Reg system. The promise of going on an ultra rampage with that overpowered banshee, mantis, phaeton, etc only to get blown up moments after coming out of the garage. We’ve all been there. It’s like getting that thing you always wanted at Christmas as a kid only to find that it sucks. lol.
On another note, I’ve found that most of my awesome Req moments were after hijacking or killing someone with an awesome vehicle/gun.

And as for microtransactions, if it generates revenue, why on earth would the corporations not make use of it?

I don’t think I’ve ever played a video game for 6 hours a day. I work about 50 hours a week and play other games too. On weekends I might play for 2 or 3 hours or so a day.

My point is you act as though you’ve gone through some kind of horrible grind to get where you’re at only to lose your precious banshee. Get over it dude. I don’t necessarily like micro-transactions either but I haven’t spent a dime on them and them being available means there won’t be “map packs” that divide the community like the previous games.

Blames the req system because you got killed
Makes sense
Is it microsofts fault that you have a poverty k/d of 0.9?

Because we already paid £50/$60 for the game… that was half the game its previous installments were… a very scummy thing to do

And corporations care…why? The cost of development is only going up and the basic price of the game stayed at $60. Micro-transactions make more money, therefore they will make more money.

I know they dont care but that makes them even more scumm, are you actually defending micro transactions in a triple A £50 game? please tell me you’re not
