According to my calculations, JUST to finish silver packs I’m going to need 128 silver packsor, to make things more dramatic, 640,000 reqs. (Req points? Going off topic here I think the unit of currency in this game is called a req but you also call vehicles and weapons you spawn in warzone “reqs”. Just in case I’m wrong I’d like to clarify that for this whole post I’m calling the currency reqs and am not referring to vehicles or weapons). Of course I could’ve made a miscalculation but after a good 15 minutes of looking into it that’s the final number we’re left at. From what I’ve heard Legendary Warzone FireFight is one of the best ways to earn reqs. But I was wondering if there was any different ways of earning reqs faster than this. Or is it just that I have to grind until I can’t hold a controller anymore?
Note: I saw this grind coming so its not like I didn’t expect it. I’m not complaining how long the grind is just if there are any tips out there that people have learned from experience that can speed up the process. Example: Do “X” instead of “Y” then combine that with “Z” and you will earn more reqs than just doing “X”.
2nd Note: I do know Mythic Warzone FireFight is a thing and I do that on the weekends when I can, but since it only comes on the weekends it isn’t a reliable source for reqs on any day other than the weekend.

Use those req point boost as often as possible. But also we have another Halo world championship series coming up and they give out codes for free gold packs during the stream. The codes have to be redeemed within like 5 mins so you have to watch them or monitor the thread we start closely, sometimes there is a lot of codes sometimes not so many. Also you get the daily win packs which can grant unlocks, firefight has commendation reward gold packs, believe it or not while well over half a million req points seem like a lot but it goes pretty quick. Just make sure you open silvers till they refund two 1500 point req cards instead of unlocks then move on to golds. That way you get all the silver level stuff out of the gold pool.
Yeah, I hope for the next game they take a page from Reach’s book. I don’t want to spend countless hours grinding only have it all boil down to chance. Unlock everything and let me grind for the points to unlock what I want. That’s my speech for the day.
Grinding is the name of the game. Not to dissuade you but rather provide some numbers, I believe you need a total of 3 million req points to unlock everything if you follow the silver-gold method; 4.5 million if you do all gold packs. Those numbers might be slightly off but they are ballpark accurate.
Don’t focus on the ‘grind.’ Play what you want to when you want to. - WZ modes net you the most RP per match. - Use boosts when you have them - Sell off the stuff you don’t use. - Finish silvers (you’ll get points back), then move on to golds (when you finish those you’ll get points back), then you can get a few bronzes to get the mongoose variants

Once you unlock everything that silver packs can unlock, the two unlock cards become 1500 point cards. So when you purchase a silver pack for 5000 points, 3000 of it is refunded.
Its easy ive got 2 gt with everything unlocked you dont need to buy with real cash just playing the game and having fun is all it takes but warzone firefight gives the most xp and rp if you can get by just using the magnum the first and second rounds and not use up all of your consumable reqs and it helps your shot its my go to warmup
There is a really good chrome plugin that does an almost perfect job of calculating what you still need to open.
Also, the London HCS will probably give out platinum packs all weekend, which you can save until you are finished silvers. It makes the gold grind sooooo much faster.
if you are doing your own silver grind calculation, remember that most of the emblems are not unlocked on packs, but rather earned in commendations. But the chrome plugin figures that out for you, mostly.
