Medal : noun, a small flat piece of metal bearing an inscription or image, given as an award or commemoration of some OUTSTANDING ACTION, EVENT, etc.

Another problem with reach(another problem with reach? no way, go on…) was that with the addition of all the unnecessary medals, the feeling of internal achievement goes away when the player actually gets a medal deserved getting. This really is another way Bungie catered this game to the casual gamer.

I agree that some of the medals in Rach are unnecessary, but there’s no need for the obnoxious sexism. They have to deal with it enough when they’re playing the damn game, they don’t need it here.

sorry, I got on rants because I liked the game too much to let it go down the toilet like reach did.

Don’t expect them to go away. Honestly, I like the unnecessary medals. It still doesn’t detract from what you’re calling a “real” medal. I still feel a much greater sense of accomplishment when I snag a Perfection. Seeing other medals for more insignificant tasks positively reinforces the player to continue playing the game. They have no reason to remove them.

Get rid of most of the ones Reach brought to the table because they just take up space. Another thing that needs to be fixed is “killed you with a headshot or grenade.” It takes up half my screen.

Anyway, OP i thought you were referring to the impossible to get spree medals (e.g. Thriller).

Something else so stupid and insignificant to complain about? Head shot medal and Revenge IMO (just like all the hoopla you said is your opinion) are needed and why do you think killing someone with a headshot while they are sprinting doesnt deserve a medal? I think you just need to find something else better to do when your angry, instead of ranting about numbers appearing on your screen

No…? What I said was how Reach catered to casual gamers and how that took away from a true Halo experience…its alright buddy

The only issue I have is that the First Strike medal is considered a Top Medal.

Take out the “yoink” medal. No one should be rewarded for betraying there teammates.
