Loo… look at this This is ridiculous…
Not only it’s OP and NEEDS to be nerfed but also the melee system needs some adjustment too. Sometime I don’t even hit the enemy… 343i please fix your game.
Looks like you were outplayed.
I don’t see the problem.
Damage done by the Spartan charge needs to be toned down you can’t even get a shot off at the charger before he finishes you off by hand.
You died in a situation where one more shot would’ve killed him. Instead you melee too late, still going backwards and miss, so that his fire kills you in the meantime.
I don’t see the problem either

Or you could just thrust to the side
Derp.

You don’t see the point. I honestly don’t care that I got outplayed. It’s the fact that he was way too far and when he pushed the melee button, his camera immediately looked to me… Meaning that you don’t need to put efforts to spartan charge someone from a far distance.

Hahaha you don’t care that you were outplayed, you just start whining about it.
You made tactical mistakes that all culminated in your death.
a) Not thrusting at the proper time
b) Trying to melee. If you’re an experienced player you should be aware of the effects of a Spartan Charge
c) You had him on tracker, knew what he was doing, and tried to engage at close range at the corner.
d) You wasted the Grenade (though to be fair you threw it before you could know his intentions)

He didn’t turn around the corner and magically charge into you, there was just movement the game model didn’t adjust to yet. Anyone who charged before knows that you can very well miss the opponent and that it doesn’t just attach to the enemy once used. Go watch his footage in theater, he most definitely turned quickly and had his reticle on you, it turned red and then reacted.

‘‘Whining’’ Ok then. I’m just trying to proove a point that spartan charging a bit too op. I could overplay him but I didn’t expect him to charge that far.

Then Why sometimes my camera turns by itself when I, myself, spartan charge someone? One time I just jumped while I was sprinting and I spartan charged someone that was from the right side of my screen…

Naahhh like the tip of that guys helmet barely touched him and that counts for a whole shields down? The Spartan charge basically missed.

Now I have a clip, where my point is proven: videoI can agree that the camera doesn’t follow the enemy BUT the player’s MOVEMENT immediately follows the enemy. The guy wasn’t even accurate.

Sorry but that sounds very made up. Any proof to back that up? Because I’m sure, if the charge were as ridiculous as described, a lot more people had uploaded .gifs on reddit and waypoint showing what you said happening. Yet, I have to see it once, not caused by lag, the enemy boosting to the side, but the brokeness of the charge itself.

Well, it looks fine to me actually. Also, just found this on reddit and the charge really wouldn’t ever follow as you described (hard right/ left turn). The player made one step to the side and it missed.

But that is the same example… I’m talking about the camera “turning itself” and going to the ride side of your screen. That is what I’d like to see an example for
I don’t think the damage needs nerfed, it’s not more powerful than a normal melee. However it has too much assisted pull. I’ve jumped to the side and thrusted only for my opponents charge to be pulled up and slightly over.
So if they tone down its pull a little bit I think it’ll be ok.

Ok why my enemy didn’t charged to the wall instead of following me? Because I was backing up? The charging aim assist is too high. The red guy from the gif image actually was late on his timing, this is why he missed.
