The reason why normal gamers should complain

This is the second day of the 3rd Flight where everyone can test the game & report bugs when they see one within Halo Infinite Multiplayer.
Ok fine, the game is rock solid chunk & it is dope, but honestly, this is for testing, figuring if we can trigger some certain bugs to help 343i make Halo Infinite having the greatest start day 1.

I absolutely enjoy Halo Infinite Multiplayer & I think 343i did a pretty good jobe on polishing the game itself. To me, the game looks almost done & 100% playable.

But, the main issue is the community itself. Not everyone but a few who just decide to go into the game, have this mentality of a 12 years old no life gamer & being Try Hard all day’s until aquiring all the possible item’s which the flight can offer with battle pass.

Ok, I do originally do not blame them for what they are doing, but holy molly, this is season 0 3rd flight. Why do I enter into a game where 6 players previously left the lobby because the enemy team were just a bunch of no life gamer who only practice at Halo all day long & tru-harding none-stop? I am new to this Halo Infinite & many others are to.

As I mentioned, they are not the ones to originally blame & complain with. No, it is the philosophy of being a Pro player no matter what happens & who brought this idea? Esports of course. In my opinion, Esport should not & never encourage casual gamers to act this way as it mostly occure injustice situation for other gamers who just want to enjoy the game itself. 343i should also NOT celebrate the players who did the most kills during a flight. This encourage players to be try hard & not necesserely make them enjoy the game itself or test it in some many different way’s. I know that because I’ve also being like this when Halo Reach came out, but this was 10 years ago. I was also a try hard to & I know how it feels to be the best into something, but its not worth it at all as you earn nothing in reality… not even pride.

343i should educate players to understand that enjoying a video game is much more important than just jump-in & have the goal to be the best of all → right from the start.
Just the fact that I witnessed this unfortunate situation, it removed my ambition to continue testing & enjoying the game which led me to a point where I only care about the campaign. This is not normal & the try-hards should calme their nerfs & start to chill for once.

Can we just enjoy the fact that Halo Infinite will be fully released this year & the game itself feels great?

I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who struggle with this sort of situation. Also, the famous quote: Get good is absolutely a Cave-Man quote & have nothing to do with having fun & enjoying.

I love Halo Infinite but I do not want the try hards to remove other players the ambition continuing playing this game.

It seems Infinite has somekind of sneaky SBMM like CoD does that makes every much super sweaty, even in casual modes. If that is true and its not just sweaty right now because its mainly hardcore Halo fans playing right now, I’m spending more time on MCC, since SBMM killed CoD for me

halo is a competitive shooter, people are gonna play to win. this “sweaty tryhard” platitude is getting old, I know people who play halo casually and consistently finish with a 4.0+ K/D. some people are just good, it is what it is.

playing the game competitively is fun for a lot of people. when SBMM is added in the retail game most of your consternations will be addressed.

I agree that the skill gap is kinda unfair becuz PC is king rn and xbox has a lot of disadvantages against them. The sbmm could use some work, hated it in cod but here it seems decent enough to not be an issue. We can all agree the BP xp gain method is absolutely awful tho.

Unfortunately, “getting good” is the sole agenda of many modern multiplayer gamers. Nothing else matters, only the pleasurable rush from beating your enemies and rising through the [skill] ranks. There is no social aspect. There is no relaxation. They are here to harvest dopamine as fast as possible, and the best way to do that is by winning.

OP needs to try and play BTB, its very much a game mode where you dont even have to shoot a gun. I dont know how else do you expect to win in game modes (some of which Halo invented) such as: TDM, CTF, or KOTH if not for killing, not dying too much and playing as a team. All three at the same time preferably. There are games where aiming a gun and knowing the map is refered to as “GET GOOD”. Maybe these are not for you OP, but a normal gamer usually plays normal games where shooting guns is pretty common. I would recommend Minecraft.

You know a guy named SUDDOTH 2? Well, I faced him yesterday in BTB  and last week, I faced another former pro named BTHManiac and his squad of sweats…if that doesn’t scream “Skilled based matchmaking” I don’t know what does. Granted, this is just a flight. It’s not like EVERYONE has access to the game, but still…it’s annoying. It’s not like I don’t like a challenge, but c’mon. I don’t want to sweat every game man

There will always be players that want to get the most kills, whether you reward it or not.

A lot of people are playing the flight to practice for the game. Make sure they can aim really well with all the weapons and have some strategies for the maps lined out. By playing the game how they normally would they can encounter issues whether that be balancing or game breaking strategies that a normal player might not encounter. It’s unfair to think that we can play the game however we want to and test it however we want to, but admonish them for wanting to play the game how they want to.

As harsh as it may be, some players may be able to beat you effortlessly. They may not even be trying and still be able to completely dominate your team.

Realistically you won’t be playing with these types very often due to sbmm, especially when the player pool is much larger. I noticed in Social Arena especially that some games we got absolutely destroyed, some games we absolutely destroyed and there were games I popped off. I never played anyone who I would consider a novice player, so I’d say loose sbmm is in effective which may be indicative of the final product. Don’t forget we and many others haven’t played enough to even get our sbmm hidden ranks locked in so naturally it will be completely unreliable at first and the better players may be playing their first games right now and are yet to be accurately placed.
