It’s due to the fact that its actually an armor set that makes you look like a spartan, Its based off of a time where armor actually looked practical and not like power ranger armor. Please 343i, bring back ALL of Noble teams armor, yes even Jorge’s with its weird combination of armor.

I would agree with that. Halo 5’s armor looks like the design crew got hammered while watching sentai shows.
Yeah I wear the Helmet not because of nostalgia and because Noble team’s story was so great, but mainly because its a good helmet. It makes me look like a Spartan, no joke. Problem is I don’t have the armor and nothing seems to match the Noble helmet really.
I just think they need to make the undersuit black instead of primary colored. That’d go a long way in making the armor aesthetically sufficient.
personally i havent noticed this. im staying away from noble teams armor just because i disliked reach and all its (literally) dead characters
It does look more traditional, but I don’t like it that much. IMO the mk IV and V are way more pleasing to look at, I even like the Athlon armor more. However I still understand the suits appeal.

I can’t stand athalon as a stand alone armor, you HAVE to have the full set on for it to look good imo lol
We need to see Emile’s helmet return with an actual scraped up skull on the front. I PRAY TO GOD its not like the one in Halo 4, that was horrible.(It looked like someone threw a skull sticker on the EVA helmet, it was terrible)
Noble armor is the only good looking armor in the game. Mostly everything else looks really lame

I like some of the armour. Noble Helmet is definitely a favourite, however Warrior+Security Combo doesn’t look too bad.

I loved the EVA Variant from Reach more anyway

Agreed. The early armor renders even depicted the suits that way; it’s a shame that didn’t stick around.
I think it would’ve worked out great visually and canonically if Chief looked like this during at least part of Halo 4 before receiving new armor.
Yeah the armor looks less and less like armor and more like costumes. What’s with the helmets that have no visors? The mako helmet is the pinnacle of the rediculousness.
I like it because the thrusters aren’t so big, they’re just there and also I like that it kinda looks like Chiefs armor. But to me is the best armor, even better than the legendary ones.
yeah…only like 30% of the armor looks wearable…like recruit, Athlon and Noble.
