Hi halo community and 343i, my name is GSM XeX and i would like to share with you a story about a game i waited a long time for.(You may want some popcorn or something) joke its not that long…
Back in 2011 in roughly February i was told about halo 4, being the Halo fan i am i eminently begged my mum to buy it for my birthday. After nagging her for 3 weeks she said yes, so off to Eb we went to buy the game i had always wanted since i herd about it. My birthday is in March so i had to wait 8 months for my birthday present. Upon receiving my present and waiting inline for 2 hours i wasted no time tearing into the case and putting the game into my console. I booted up the game and started to play. An excellent first match i had (Private match griffball hehe) my and my friends decided we would play some team slayer (This is where it started to go bad). The first game we played we lost but i got to SR5 in the second game shortly after i received a odd error that i was playing as an offline spartan and unable to earn exp or commendations. I was told i was in a fallback server as the server were overloaded and that i should just take a break for 1-2 hours and it would be fine…wrong. I did not play the game for 10 hours and when i arrived back on it still said i was unable to earn exp and commendations. Although all my friends could and i could join them unlike to fallback server issues. It said i was rank 5 when i checked the menu but in game it said i was SR1. I have been patiently waiting for a fix and nothing. I have posted my error on the forums and even sent an admin a message. Did i mention i have been having this error for 3 months… I have not been able to earn any exp or commendations for 3 months.
I know there has to be away to fix this please can anyone help 343i i am looking to you for help please other wise i have wasted $110 on a useless game. Please help and do not ignore this please!!!
Well my original post was dismissed and replaced with a -snip- and same with all the replies i posted that 1 week after the game came out. (Have not been able to find it since)

Yes i have. Although it seems there is not problem with the ports as i can still find games and all and play like i am connected to the normal server and all with all the players and it shows me as SR1 in game and SR5 in the menu and no one can see my armor and i cant use my custom classes.
I’m no expert, but my next step(if you’ve not tried this) would be to delete every last halo 4 save game/dlc/installed game from your hard drive, clear the system cache and start again.

Well i have to say that is the best answer i have herd i removed it all and reinstalled disk 2 and nothing else and my rank showed. Until i clicked to search for a game…

Contact the Forum Teams, go to the thread where the issues are known or contact the adminstrators they can help you. This is something they can definitlely help you with so do that and wait for reply.
