It’s not the game, it’s xbox live! You see all of these people say “Halo 2 was the best” and guess what? So were the people. I’ll tell you right now what had me coming back to Halo 2 all the time was more the communication and having fun with complete strangers than the game it’s self. Now and days everyone like that is locked in party chat or have their mica unplugged.
People today online say the most terrible things and that’s pretty much why there’s silence and with silence comes an opening for frustration and hate which then leads to the inevitably of the game being bashed. No one actually has fun anymore and it’s become an obligation to play. Almost to the same equivalent as someone going to a miserable job everyday. People used to play games to get away from this.
It’s a sad reality but ya know there could be a way to change this. I know this might be asking a lot from some of you but try to plug in your mics and stay out of party chat and also try to shoot some positive things towards others rather than negative. Try to laugh it up with other people and the mood for all of this might change.
