The real way to balance L.O weapons (kinda)

So this is 100% more opinion. Yet I think a lot of this would make Halo 4 (or Halo 5?) a better game. More balanced. Skilled. Fun for everyone. From the automatic AR lover, to the MLG no-scope DMR users. And all inbetween.

Rifles

DMR
1-Slower ROF (25-50%)
2-Less bullet magnetism at close range

BR
1-Longer range
2-1 shot less to kill for headshots
3-More recoil (5%)

Carbine
1-Heavier headshot damage (1-3 shots less)
2-Slight “stun” against players being shot

Light Rifle_
1-The same. Should balance out.

Autos

Assault Rifle
1-Longer Range
2-slight damage increase

Storm Rifle
1-More bullet spread
2-Stun ability like in Halo:CE

Suppressor
1-Damage increase
2-Range increase
3-ROF increase

Pistols

Magnum
1-Pretty fine the way it is

Bolshot
1-Slight damage increase per normal shots
2-15% weaker charge shot (Now it takes a “Shotgun Blast Shot” + Beat Down=Kill.

Plasma Pistol
1-No charged shot tracking
2-Charged shot takes down 2% energy per second. Not 1%.
3-Smaller vehicles (Hogs/Mangoose/Ghosts) don’t stun as much. Only 1-2 seconds.
4-Tanks/Mantis/Etc EMP effect lasts 1 second more.

OTHER THINGS

1-Vehicles need a HP boost. For players and overall vehicles

2-Warthog MG and Ghost Plasma should do 10% more damage. But keep overheat

3-10% more boost ability for Ghost

4-Ordanace should not be random. Should be based on what weapon you used.

Example_
If all your kills are Assault Rifle and Nades you should have Damage Boost, Nades and SAW

If all your kills are BR or DMR or such you would have. Overshield. Nades. Sniper Rifle

Or so on.

Playlist Changes

1-Add BTB. Not BTB slayer.

2-Heavies…

3-More classic forge remakes

4-Action Sack

5-(Probably not possible) but online COOP MM

6-Classic Playlists. No L.O. Ordance. Normal Points. Possibly no sprint. Abilites. Overall classic Halo

If this were to happen, I think the Sniper would fire faster.
However, a slower rof when zoomed in would be practical.

As much as people complain about the DMR on here, this would be a TERRIBLE fix for the BR, as the DMR is designed for longer ranges.
Also, one less shot for headshots is a terrible and useless idea.

I agree it should be quicker to kill with it, but it is a weapon that will throw you off guard quite easily.

The AR is a close ranged weapon, increasing the range is more or less limited.
Same goes with damage.

It’s got quite a good range for a Rapid Fire gun.
It fires fast enough already.

Ever used the Brutes Sidearm in Halo 3? No? Well then.

The only thing I agree on is the Playlist changes.

The other people on here are idiots, I completely agree with this, especially the DMR fire rate. So many people on the forums talk about lowering the fire rate and it’s the best idea next to taking it out of the game.
