They didn’t buff the aim assist on anything. Mice aren’t supposed to have reticle stickiness as it makes it feel weird and you’d be basically cheating.
Both inputs have the same bullet magnetism though.

You need to know the facts before saying something didnt happen. 343 released a post where they said they buffed aim assist on certain guns on release.
They widened the aiming cones. They didn’t change the stick factor.
At 20:09 is where he gets some ridiculous pistol kills followed by the Commando.
I think there is probably some truth to what you suggesting. That the aim assist or bullet magnetism is stronger on PC than console regardless of your controller typer. The reason I tend to agree with your comment is that I remember reading and article or watching a video on IGN where 343i openly states that Halo Infinite’s slipspace engine was designed specifically with PC in mind. If this is true than it makes.

I would like to see this article because 343i made a video on their TY saying that PC was built from the ground up and wasn’t just a port. Port meaning it was made on console first then ported over to PC. They never once mentioned Halo Infinite was born first on PC then ported to console.

Here’s another one with similar information.

This is back in 2018 that this statement was made.
Maybe I read what you said wrong. Obviously it was developed with PC in mind, just about all game engines are. I mean they’re born on PC to begin with but they always planed to release on both console and PC.
I don’t see a possible explanation between platforms causing stronger aim assist. I can’t even theorize one. So I don’t know that I’d blindly believe AA being stronger on PC than xbox, it doesn’t make any sense to me how or why that would happen.
Extra frames? I don’t think.
Latency would be the only thing I can think of that could affect aim assist between platforms.

Did they have different development teams for PC for console? 343i has outsourced so much it’s hard. I wouldn’t doubt that there are some inconstancies between platforms.
I checked both clips you sent.
Both are on PC, one is in controller only ranked so that’s not even comparing two inputs in one match and the other player is in gold…
Now I’m not being funny but there are many instances where they are fighting someone and their opponents miss dozens of shots (even in the controller only ranked at diamond)
These clips aren’t comparing anything at all and sadly we can all have good games and call it “auto aim” or “aim bot” when in reality they arent.
This doesnt go against anything that I said, or prove anything at all. These players are on pc and that’s where AA is the strongest anyway, one is controller only D1 and the other crossplay gold.
All ranked input options I was placed D1 straight off the bat, some ranked games have been easy af bit thats not due to my input thats due to te players.
Sadly they never showed the rank of the people they was versing, and once again this wasnt a comparison. Just people claiming it’s easy in gold/D1. They was clearly aiming but say they arent as well, that was annoying to hear…
Either way they dont prove or show anything. The only way to test properly is in a controlled custom game to test the AA with someone who isnt going to lie or be biased like most people are online. But this test also needs to be done on all platforms too.
Man if they used 500m and they over looked something like that after 6 years? That’d be wild.

what is telling you aim assist is stronger on PC and not the same strength on both?

Either way, those clips still show how much of an advantage there is when going from KBM to controller.
Again, tonight I was do a video showing the AA from both inputs/platforms.
None wants controller to be unplayable on console. Maybe not a nerf to aa but an increase to bullet magnetism for mnk players so that they can too somewhat consistently 4 burst people like controller.
Because iv played on both, I did briefly say in a comment somewhere far near the start so you probably missed it.
But AA is also inconsistent anyway, makes testing even worse. Best way I can describe it is on my pc my crosshair would follow the enemy more than on my console (series s)
I never tested bullet magnetism though, but from all my games I have it’s so small if I’m a mm off it’s a miss. Hell even body shots miss lol but that’s desync
Yeah what im saying is that maybe they should increase the bullet magnetism on mnk so that mnk can fight back rather than reduce aim assist. Br on mnk is just terrible.
But they dont show that? And it’s not a controlled environment so cant really be used. Every opponent is different and try can all be having a bad game, day etc. So it’s not a controlled experiment and would be void if it was science.
All those clips show is they went positive in a ranked match in gold/diamond on a controller and that’s all

You seen my video on bullet mag, right? I do plan on testing that again, but I’m waiting on someone else to do it with me. He’s pretty busy and he’s also a top KBM player.
