The REAL reason why the population is low.

Because people who had 4GB Xbox’s couldn’t play multiplayer.

LOL, what you say is true, my friend.

People who have the 4gb version can’t afford to buy a usb stick?

This, and why this Halo is the most CoD that the own CoD…

DMR, Loadouts, Perks, personal ordenance, bolshot, br, horrible armors…

What does horrible armors and the boltshot have to do with cod?

> What does horrible armors and the boltshot have to do with cod?

Spawning with a shotgun = boltshot.

boltshot =/= shotgun

I’d say those people are the lucky ones

> boltshot =/= shotgun

Boltshot > Shotgun

> People who have the 4gb version can’t afford to buy a usb stick?

Maybe they blew all their Xmas money on a 4GB console deal? I dunno…

Because its not 2007 anymore and there are a bunch of games to play now that have great multiplayer. All thanks to Bungie and Halo.

This plays a much bigger deal than most of the people on these forums would like to admit.

Agreed.

Though it doesn’t change how I feel about 343i chasing down CoD fans.

That opinion is completely fine, but too many people act like if Halo were to be centered around even starts gameplay again, that it would lead to population equal to Halo 3’s peak, while they ignore even bigger factors like the abundance of decent competition from other games, and shifts in gaming demographics.

Agreed again.

People also ignore that games come and go. Halo was never going to be on top forever. Regardless of the direction of the series.

That’s a really good point too. Even Call of Duty has been fading over the last few years, with each game having a lower peak population than the one before it.

Think of game like Doom, Quake, and Unreal. They used to be tops. They held their ground when it came to game play(No so much Unreal) and faded away feeling like dated dinosaurs.

COD didn’t became number one by copying Halo. So why is HalO trying to be number one by copying COD? Sick of it.

Yeah, it makes you wonder what the “next big thing” is going to be.

It so often comes out of no where. Some company will make a game full of features we didn’t even know we wanted. Ya know… like Bungie did with Halo.
