Lets be honest here if it wasn’t 343 a big AAA company we wouldn’t be mad with its being F2P and having a battle pass system. The difference between a small studio like the ones that made fortnite and PUBG is that is was a small group of people who made the game with a small budget and funding. So a battle pass and F2P mechanics make sense to help them continue to fund the game and pay themselves. A AAA company making a F2P game when they have considerable funding and then adding a battle pass and predatory monetization is just a cash grab and pisses everyone off. Thats why we are mad it has less to do with how well the game plays and more to do with the whole principle of the matter.
