Maybe they’re holding out so they can attempt some elaborate April fools joke on the first by claiming that the update is bringing back armor lock or something.

I think 343 is smart enough to not pull some April fools joke. Those jokes never go over well.

I don’t know, I thought Bungie’s Halo Chess April Fools joke was pretty good. Especially when we actually got a gametype of it in Halo Reach anyways.

That’s an example of a good joke though. Of course, I could see a ton of people getting pissed off about that same joke with Halo 5

The problem is that, with 343’s track record being what it is, it doesn’t sound too far out of the realm of possibility.

I think it’s just a busy and mixed up March that’s causing the delay.

The Game Developers Conference is being held this week, followed by the Halo World Championship on the weekend, then the Easter holiday.

Nah, its being pushed back beause theu won’t be working this weekend, they’ll all be busy watching HWC, and then they will all be away for easter the weekend after.

Calling it now: On April 1, 343 is going to say that the update has again been delayed, and then release it a few hours later as an April fools joke.
