The real problem

The way i see it, there is only really two major problems: this whole upgrading your loadouts, abilities and GUNS system that they have got going. And X-ray vision.

First X-ray vision: it is like screen peaking online and i foresee being equal to Armour Lock in the whole piss off section of things.

And the upgrading: this wreaks CoD. everyone is going on about sprint and perks which are also stupid and take away from halo. BUT upgrading what you have at the beginning of the game. That is the true thing i have never understood about CoD. In Halo everyone has always started off on equal footing and this is what has always made it it competitive, fun and attractive to both experienced and new players. There was always a skill gap because of one thing only skill. not because the better players had better guns or perks.

Good players are all complaining about removing the skill gap which i totally understand, you dont want someone worse then you to be able to beat you because of luck. But on the opposite side i see no reason to be pouring down rewards and making the game easier for people that are already good at it. With exceptions in Reach Halo has always been able to effectively offer this balance between skill gap and over-rewarded skill.

So while i dont see Armour Abilities as leaving as much room for a fun and fluid game, i will learn to live and hopefully like them as long as this playing field remains fair to both the experienced and the ones experiencing. This, as proven by CoD cannot be done if the purpose of the game is simply to upgrade and gain an advantage in the games to come.

343i I see a lot of potential in a lot of your ideas but the format you have laid out for us so far is not gunna leave you anywhere for your games to grow
