Alright, 343 advertises the anniversary maps as being seven of the most beloved/iconic multiplayer maps from the first few halos. The problem is that when I think of the classic maps that were the most popular I think of Blood Gultch, Sidewinder, Midship, etc. I’m not sure if Prisoner, Timberland, or Damnation were more popular than the 3 maps I just spoke of in my previous sentence. So, if 343 is advertising the Anniversary Map Pack as being the most iconic/famous classic multiplayer maps from the first two Halos why did Prisoner, Timberland, and Damnation make it in over Blood Gultch, Sidewinder, and Midship. The latter are the true classic maps, in my opinion, as I hadn’t really ever heard of or played the former 3 maps that much having been one of the first people to buy Halo:CE.
So, yea I understand that Blood Glutch, Sidewinder, and Midship have had remakes in previous Halo’s but being the most popular classic maps in Halo of all-time I think these should be remade for Reach as well as they are the true Anniversary maps along with Beaver Creek, Hang Em High, and Headlong.
Will we see Blood Gultch, Sidewinder, and Midship the true anniversary maps, per say, released for Reach or am I all alone on thinking this way about the anniversary maps.

343i said they would not have remakes of maps already available for play on the Xbox 360, as you said.
We won’t be seeing Blood Gulch, Sidewinder and Midship remade on Reach for a long time, if ever.

That is disappointing to hear as I don’t even think Valhalla was a true remake of Blood Gultch the best Halo multiplayer map of all time IMO.
Edit: Perhaps we can expect these 3 maps to be remade for Halo 4?

Valhalla was a re imagination of it, similar to Sidewinder & Avalanche.
I also doubt they will be remade for Halo 4 if Halo 3 is still running which it most likely will be.

We allready have hemorage, even if its forged. Its werid to think that there will be 3 new titles, but for there to not be any remakes seems… weird. I wouldnt be suprised if they did do a couple.

Well that is pathetic as Halo 3 is essentially dead at this point.
Don’t you think because of this a Anniversary Map Pack #2 with true remakes of Blood Gultch, Sidewinder, and Midship are in order?
the only reasons i bought halo CEA were to replay the game obviously and to play all the great multiplayer maps that made me fall in love with the game i.e. Bloodgultch/sidewinder/midship/hell id even love to see lockout cause it was an awesome map to play swords in. i hated beaver creek and the only reason my friends and i would play headlong was to get on top of the level. all this to say i was gona sub to x-box live just for the multiplayer hell i had to rebuy a 360 cause i had sold my old one but once i found out that there was a halo CE remake coming out i went out and bought a new one but i dont even want to play it anymore =( i really hope they add the new “old” maps as DL content. id even be willing to pay for them and i know everyone else would love to see bloodgultch and sidewinder.

Well the game is still missing 50 GS so it’s not impossible for 1-2 more maps being released and maybe free due to it being only 50 GS.
