The Ravager is Amazing Now

I love its versatility too. It has a melee bonus so you can use it at a poor man’s sword/shotgun, it has as much range as you’re able to aim it, and the charged shot has several applications itself such as cutting off doorways, setting off grenades, and breaking people’s shields in a group.

To top it off, its one of the best overall anti-vehicle weapons in the game, able to take on even tanks.

The plasma pistol needs a total rework. The shots don’t do actual plasma damage, it’s kind of like how the plasma repeater worked. You have better luck finishing off someone with no shields by spamming it or getting an overcharged headshot

I believe best way to use the Plasma Pistol is hit some one with a fully charged shot to break sheild, then quick-swap to another weapon like regular pistol to finish them off, right?
I find it doesnt really work well ever, especially when others usually have better weapons going at you.

That’s supposed to be the best way, but the homing in this game is so wonky it basically only works if they’re standing still

I felt like Reach had the perfect Plasma Pistol.

3 shots fully drained shields, 7 more would finish a player off, and the overcharge felt consistent, like it would always hit if you used it in the right scenario, and always miss if you didn’t. It was actually an extremely capable weapon, out TTK-ing the DMR outright with semi-auto shots, while also being extremely deadly in melee encounters thanks to it’s 3 shot-melee combo and providing extra utility for noob combos. It was better than the AR and Plasma Repeater in every single way, which really made it feel like a worthy equivalent to the Magnum for that game.

If they buff the Infinite Plasma Pistol semi-auto to be similar to this. Let’s say 3 shots drain shields, 8 finishes them off, with double damage on headshots for a potential 7 shot optimal TTK. I think it will play so much better and would alleviate fans missing the Plasma Rifle weapon archetype.

I don’t really thing the tracking needs to be adjusted yet though for overcharges. Once desync is fixed I think a lot of the issues tracking has will disappear. We can mostly agree that when we watch a shot miss that’s a fair miss, it’s the times we watch a shot hit and nothing happens that are really killing it’s charged shot mode right now.

I feel there is a nerf on plasma pistol’s hold shot.
Before, the enemy was magnetic the shot and eat it but now the shot is more straight…
