I don’t really feel that power from the ravager in multiplayer…
Hold down the fire button for a charged shot. It leaves a pool of burning plasma on the ground for a few seconds that will kill any spartans in it. I can see that being similar to this part of the story you’ve read.
I know that it has an alternative firing mode, but it just tickles the enemy. During the flights it was a two shot kill weapons, felt just right back then knowing how hard it could be to hit from afar.

I’m convinced at this point it was an easter egg that accidentally got added to the main game, this weapon sucks lol.
Just tested it against a ghost. As you all expected, the ghost shrugged it off like it got splashed with ketchup or something.
Lore does not equal gameplay. In many cases adhering to lore would make the gameplay far worse.
Can’t believe they nerfed it so bad pathetic…
