so here is what it is, lots of the rares have similar gimmicks and by that I mean explosive bullets and subanese crystals
some of the things with explosive bullets
oni warthog

blissful slumber
and for the crystals
blood of suban
sword needler warthog
razers edge
(talon of the lost gets a pass since it is a needler)
not a complaint just is a little weird (subanese crystals are what they shoot mined from one of sanghelios’s moons suban thats where the blood of suban gets its name

I think they just keep re using the same gimmick over and over I think we are going to get sick of guns that have bullets that explode when they make contact or bullets that when there are enough impeded in a target they explode and it is weird they are almost all the same rarity

no just saying maybe they should try a diffrent gimmick like maybe… a shot stuns the target for one seconds and then it does increased damage for 5 seconds and after the five second it will do the stun shot again

I meant for them to try more then the same main gimmicks
Doesn’t the pool of radiance have some lingering area effect? Kinetic bolts on blaze of glory. Ground target homing on spnkr em, emp effect on echidna (I think Typhon might even have that to some extent), that gravity pull black hole effect on the voids tear, two thruster boosts on vorpal talon.
They did try a handful of other things.

Razor’s edge does no use subanese crystals, its simply a suppressor that fires homing hardlight projectiles which have a gimmick of supercombine. (no lore as to why its just a re skinned needler)
If ur looking at a difference between answer and slumber, its the cheaper req cost, which means the ammo capacity of slumber is less than that of answer, also it overheats so it cant be fired continuously like the answer (answer’s clip size is substantial that it can take down several spartans before a reload)
going by all these, i find most gimmicks ok, the only one which seems unnecessary is the razor’s edge, but honestly, i feel it was made that way just to make suppressors less useless.
Vehicles are fine the way they are, cuz the explosive bullet gimmick is only present in the oni hog (correct me if im wrong). hence not an issue really

yeah but I meant these two are a little over used and pool of radiance, Echidna and vorpal talon are ultra rares and yes the are other things its just that these are a little over used

well the ultra ghost which is same req level also has explosive bullets and pretty certain the oni scorpian and ultra wraith turrets and the automatic ultra banshee guns have them (dont quote me) but besides the ghost who uses those auto turrets

Oni Mantis and Scorpion have explosive round turrets as well.

yeah not rare though but yeah and then white scar has the subanese crystals and I probably missed some
I think they wanted some form of consistency, or they just thought needles and booms were coo’.
Open hand doesn’t use either I think. It just has light on Viagra.
well if they created new gimmicks people would complain about it not sticking to cannon
