After watching machinima dominion gameplay they had active kill cams. In the kill cam in showed the ohter players rank sr2 and a rank emblem as well :). Suck it i knew thwy wouldnt make the ranks invisible.

That’s the progressive ranks (SR=Spartan Rank), not actual skill based ranks. Big difference between the two.
The ranks being invisible was never the issue, it was the skill rank. Completely different

No… people wanted the 1-50 skill rank from Halo 3. That was visible.

You’re not getting it. Many players want skill based ranks AND for them to be visible. Like in Halo 3. As it’s been said before, the Reach style progression system isn’t what everyone is talking about.
We’ve been down that road before. Being told that trueskill is taking skill in account while being invisible and look how Reach turned out. Lopsided matches with players you shouldn’t be matched up with/against and in fact was random in pairing you up with others.
For those who don’t stand opposed, this what a visible ranking system will do. You can say it’ll still work being invisible but it’s much easier to convince players the system is doing it’s job when you can see it on your screen.
As for myself, just give me the game already. I just want to play it. Like, right now.
Once again, rather than whining because there is no label saying your virtual halo reproductive organ is 50" long how about you just show the noobz by owning them on the field?
