So I did very well in a Team Slayer game on Torque, unfortunately we lost because a teammate went 0-16 (Deranker?) The thing is…even though I myself did well I still lost ranking??

Is it based on W/L and not performance?

Performance also is a factor in getting your rank. I dont really know about the ranking system much but you can probably look up some videos on Youtube to help you figure it out

Win loss thats how you get rank in Halo 5.

If you lose the game, your rank goes down. If you win a game, your rank goes up. Your preformance on the leaderboard that game determans how much you’ll go up or down. so you can be the best player that game, but because your team lost, instead of going up in rank, you’ll go down a little bit.

Here’s how it works

  • That player was a smurf, rip your rank - CSR is based upon wins but depending on your performance you can go up or down more or less than you should
