The skill system 5 uses is trash, I have litterally been thrashing noobs for a few days and my skill rank has actually gone down. It just. Does. Not. Work. I will never understand 343s hatred of the 1-50 system.

Yea but what if your team is garage and you get 32 kills 6 deaths and still lose?

You need to acquire a strong team and learn to play well together to get into the highest ranks.
Just like any team based game.
Divisions and 1-50 are basically the same thing, just divisions are a more creative way of expressing it and better encourage competitive team play. If 343i made another Halo 3 it would kill the franchise, halo 3 is tired, Halo needs to innovate and so far 343i is doing an excellent job with Halo 5. Oh and for you information I have played Halo since 2003/4 and I think Halo 5 will be the best instalment yet.

Its a snoozefest to me. My k/d is through the roof, at this point I just want to try the game with equally skilled opponents so I can get a better representation to the game. Im by no means good but I am demolishing people at my rank so bad the game is no fun…
