The Rakshasa Core needs a BACK ATTACHMENT 🎒

It’s such an I C O N I C piece to a spartan.

Just look at all the cores they have already, and look at their back.
Spartans always have the  looking back.

Just a suggestion, would love to see it.

Other than having back attachments in MCC, we are talking about Lone Wolves that scavenge and improvise what they can, being so deep in enemy territory. I would think they’d want to carry some packs or other munitions/ordnance on their backs, being that’s the whole theme of the Rakshasa: scavenging and improvisation.

I’d love some of that.

Grunt plushies on their backs?

Based on current tactical assault pack with a 3-in-1 -Yoink!- pack (much like Reach Carter) below it.

In Australia that F word is an old colloquial name for a different body part. Also, the item you mention in your last sentence is called a bum bag here.

To go by the standard that something may be offensive somewhere, there’s a character stance with the v victory/peace sign. That is highly offensive some places in the world. So what.

In the territory people proudly wear their CUintheNT swag with “in the” really small. Highly offensive elsewhere. I lived in the territory a number of years, was in NTES, and have seen the Todd flood three times.

I think that either a munitions bag like @Sarge221 said, or maybe a brute back piece. Otherwise, I think that it still works pretty nicely like it does now. I think that no back piece makes the armor more “scavenged”.

The blank back bugs the heck out of me. And more, is that the armor technically isn’t mjolnir. They can say it is, but the light materials and scavenging nature of the armor ensures that this armor just isn’t the same as mjolnir, closer to ODST armor than anything. And there are no shield emitters (the lights on the armor).

Fracture cores are fine, they can look however 343 wants, but the canon stuff needs consistency. There are plenty of places they could have put the emitters on.

Hahahahhahahhahhahahha…
NO

HELL YEAH gimme some elite plushies too people will eat that up.

Is the armor itself scavenged?
Is their lore somewhere about this armor? I’m a little confused on how it all works…the starting point and such

Here’s the wiki page for it.
It seems that no, the main armor (chest piece, “crotch” guard, forearms, etc.) are not scavenged. Only the parts the player can swap in and out (perhaps except for the helmet) are scavenged. So, in lore it could make more sense to have a “tactical backpack” rather than a back piece.

Thanks mate, appreciate it.
That makes sense.

Y’all out here talking about back packs, but where’s this things power supply?

If I recall right the power was always located in the back. But that was when MKV was still used. So IDK

This is my main gripe with this armor core, like where is the fusion reactor to power this thing? Is this core even power armor?

It’s possible that it’s inside the little strap holder, or in the front.

The only thing bothering me about this Core is the lack of coatings

It may be to do with the fact that in the US that means butt, but in the UK it’s actually a swear word for a certain body part of a particular gender.

Yes, it needs back plating. This is the one thing that annoys me about this armour.

I think the body style of the armour looks better than the MK VII, but it is more akin to ODST armour, not mjolnir.

I don’t follow the lore in depth, however, this scavenging armour thing doesn’t make sense to me.
